Christmas Break

Bloomington: During the Christmas Break IWU turns the heat down in several of the buildings in order to save money.  This year the building we hold our classes in will have the heat turned down to a level that is too low to hold a class in for students.  During the Christmas Break session only, the classes have been moved to Hawthorn Suites which is located right off the Route 9/Market Street exit on the West side of Bloomington-Normal.  The hotel is next to Crackle Barrel.  We did this last year and it worked out great.  Students really enjoyed having the classes in a big conference room.

Simply take the Rt. 9/Market Street exit off I-74 and head directly into Bloomington-Normal.  At the first light you will see a McDonald’s on the right.  Turn right at the light and simply follow the road past McDonald’s and keep going straight.  You will soon see a sign for Hawthorn Suites.  You will see Cracker Barrel on your left.  Just keep going straight and the road ends in the parking lot of Hawthorn Suites.  Hawthorn Suites is visible from the interstate.

Champaign: Judah Christian High School is located at 908 N Prospect Avenue in Champaign.  Directions can be obtained at www.mapquest.com.  In short, it is off Prospect Avenue, south of Bradley Avenue and north of University Avenue.  Judah is minutes from both Centennial and Champaign Central High School.

When arriving at Judah Christian, enter the doors under the sign that says Judah Christian Junior & Senior High Schools.  Upon entering the doors, proceed down the hallway as far as you can go then take a right.  Go all the way down the hallway and the class will be located in room 112.

Peoria Christian High School is located at 3506 North California Avenue, Peoria, IL 61603.  California Avenue is off War Memorial Drive, across from the Peoria Public School stadiums.  We will be in room 102 on the first floor.  When you enter the building, follow the hallway to the right and stay to the right.  A map can be found at www.mapquest.com.
